Singapore's Masjid Sultan

Masjid Sultan kept showing up in blogs and guidebooks for Singapore, so Afroz and I decided to check it out. It was also time for the afternoon prayer while we were there, so it was convenient to stop and pray there as well. The mosque was built in 1928 and is one of Singapore's most important and well-known mosques. The mosque is very prominent from the outside, with its large dome and tall minarets. The interior is filled with golden floral motifs and Quranic verses.
